Jake Endres
Jake Endres lives in St. Paul and freelances as an actor, singer, music director, composer, director and producer. He has appeared with many regional groups, including The Minnesota Orchestra (Mozart’s The Magic Flute; Bernstein’s Mass; Puccini’s Tosca), The Children’s Theatre Company (The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins), G.R.E.A.T. Theatre (Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof), Skylark Opera (including On the Town and The Merry Widow), Park Square Theatre (Oliver Twist and Oh, Coward!), Sapphire Chamber Consort (The Soldier’s Tale), Frank Theatre (Puntila and Mother Courage), and Minnesota Dance Theatre (Rumblings).
Endres has also appeared with The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Actor’s Theater of Minnesota, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, American Folklore Theatre, St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists, Nautilus Music-Theater, Bemidji Symphony, Dakota Valley Symphony, Theatre Mu, and Dorian Opera Theatre.
Mr. Endres is also the founder and artistic director of The Theatrical Music Company, an innovative, award-winning performance ensemble based in St. Paul, whose shows have included Knock Knock! It’s Your Husband – 7 American Comic Operas in 90 Minutes and Voice-In-Head: Improv Headphone-Guided Futurismo™, and most recently, Elvis Costello’s The Juliet Letters. His upcoming projects include Coco’s Diary and Capitol Crimes: The St. Paul Gangster Musical at the History Theatre this spring.
